Spending Christmas in Florida is great except that I sometimes miss the Minnesota Snow if you can believe that. This year it is exceptionally warm here in Florida, in the mid to upper 80's so it really doesn't seem like Christmas. Linda and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.

We left Virginia on the 29th of October and arrived here in Ft. Pierce, FL on the 14th of November. We had a very pleasant trip down the ditch with no major problems. I think we have all the bugs worked out of the Molly B, finally! I did have a problem with my radar and I'm still working on what that problem is and whether or not I can fix it or will have to replace the radar. We'll be here for a few months and plan to head north around the first week of April, the beginning of our trip around the great loop. Really looking forward to that 2,000+ mile trip up through the great lakes and back down the river systems into the Gulf of Mexico and Florida.

We had a pretty good trip up from Florida and we have once again arrived in the York River in Virginia. We only had one or two minor problems on the way up so the Molly B really ran great. We will be here until the end of September or early October and then plan to head back to Florida for the winter. It took us 23 days to get here so we made pretty good time along the way since it's almost a thousand miles up here. If you're in the area, stop by and see us at the Crown Pointe Marina in Hays, VA on the York River.

We are finally underway again. We left Ft. Pierce, FL on the 19th of June and are heading north again. The Molly B is running great and we have made pretty good time to date. We are currently tied up at the St. Johns Yacht Harbor in Charleston, SC. I'm having some trouble with my navigation software and need to get it up and running correctly before we get underway again.

Here it is the middle of May and we're still sitting here in Ft. Pierce, FL. We were going to start on the "Great Loop" this summer but now I don't think we will be able to do it since we're getting such a late start. We're still waiting for a guy in Canaveral to repair our dingy for us. This is the third month he's had it and as of yesterday he hadn't even started on it yet. So, it's hard to say when we might be able to get underway. It's under warranty so maybe he doesn't get paid enough by the Mfg. for him to get excited about repairing it. I guess we will just have to wait for him.
Our two little puppies are doing great although they are really a hand-full. They seem to like living on the boat, even when we are underway. They look like two little fur balls but they will get their hair cut on Monday.

We're still here in Ft. Pierce FL at the City Marina. Just doing a little work on the boat. I'm waiting for new props again, or at least re-worked props. I'm having them cut down because I think I'm getting a little cavitation with the 20" props. They are going to re-pitch them for me as well. I'm still only getting around 2300 RPM and I should be up around 3000 so the prop shop is going to take a little pitch out of the props for me. Hope we get it right this time, three times and out they say. Maybe another month and a half here and we'll be heading north for the great lakes this summer. We're going to attempt the great loop. That aught to be fun!!

We've moved a little bit south of Titusville, FL down to Ft. Pierce, FL. We will be staying around here for a couple months until around the end of April or early May. Then we are planning to attempt the Great Loop this summer if all goes well. For those of you on the water, we hope to see you along the way, and for those land lovers out there we will do our best to keep this blog up to date and let you know where we are.
